Rescue Diver course student Steve recently finished his training and graduated as a Rescue Diver and Basic Life Support provider.
During the Rescue Diver Course, Steve did a series of pool sessions where he learned the basics of diver rescues, both on the surface and underwater, then completed a classroom session on First Aid, CPR, O2 kits and AEDs. Following that, he performed a series of rescues off of the dive boat, rescuing an unconscious diver on the surface as well as an unconscious diver on the bottom. It’s a very physical class and very tiring, but the reward is worth it! Congratulations Steve!
