Diver Jacob worked on his skills and completed his checkout dives with a great day checking out the reefs and a wreck off of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
A couple of days with beautiful ocean conditions aboard “Sea Experience II” out of Bahia Mar Marina. Shortly after clearing the Port Everglades Inlet, we arrived at our first dive site. We dove the wreck “Robert Edminster” and saw lots of 3- and 4-foot barracuda. Diver Jacob did very well with his buoyancy and navigation and he enjoyed all the fish.
Dive 2 found us on a shallow reef called “Fisher’s Pedestal”. Not a lot of current, so navigation and sightseeing was easy. I had Diver Jacob run through some of his required skills, which he performed flawlessly. We saw lots of fish schools along the reef as well, and we both enjoyed it immensely.
Day 2 finds us once again aboard “Sea Experience II” headed out to 2 reef dives. Our first stop was just north of “The Caves” reef, and dive 2 was on “The Caves”. Diver Jacob finished up all remaining skills and we got to tour the reefs a little bit. Way more fish today, too!
