ANY QUESTIONS?
BE SURE TO READ OUR FAQ LISTThe answer to your question may be located in our FAQ list below! If not, please use our form to submit your question.
Are there any pre-requisites for taking a course?
Yes! All courses require you to be able to swim and be medically capable of participating in diving activities. For all classes there is a required medical form that needs to be filled out (and signed by a doctor in some circumstances). Your instructor will provide you with all necessary forms at your first meeting.
How do I purchase a course?
Clicking on any course’s “BUY NOW” button on the COURSES page will take you to our storefront where you can complete your purchase. Once you have made your purchase, we receive a notification and can place an order for your course materials, which generally arrive in 3-4 days. We will notify you when your materials arrive and meet with you to go over everything before you start.
How long does a course take?
For most of the courses, the Learning Sessions (classroom or online) is the part that takes the longest to complete. For example, the coursework for Open Water diver can take a week to complete, BEFORE water sessions start. It’s all based on your ability to get the Learning Sessions completed in a timely manner! The remainder of course time depends on the course and pool/ocean training required, determined by your schedule.
Do I need my own dive gear?
Other than a swimsuit, we recommend you have your own mask, snorkel, fins and boots. These MUST be SCUBA-quality (ie: not off-the-shelf Walmart) and are considered “personal” gear items. We will be happy to advise you on any gear you are considering buying. The rest of the basic dive gear is provided in the cost of the courses (where applicable). Some of the advanced classes require additional specialty items that are NOT included in the course price.
